Of these, 6 cases involved sheep and 7 involved cattle. 9 of the premises were tested following reports of suspicious clinical signs, 2 were as a result of a private test.9 new cases of BTV-3 were confirmed in Wales on 26 August 2026. There were cases Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Cardiff, Neath Port Talbot, Monmouthshire, Powys and Caerphilly.
