Arrangements on how to manage flood risk in areas of southern England, known as internal drainage districts (IDDs). This includes the River Arun IDD.

Details
Internal drainage boards (IDBs) are public bodies that manage water levels in some areas where there is a special need for drainage. We call these areas internal drainage districts (IDDs).
The Environment Agency inherited the administration of 6 IDDs in Sussex. Of these 5 of the 6 IDDs have now been abolished. The remaining IDD is the River Arun. The Environment Agency will continue to act as the IDB.
