  1. Reviewed and updated in respect of the reference to proceedings under Article 7 of the Treaty on European Union in respect of Poland, against which proceedings were discontinued in May 2024.

  2. Guidance updated: simplified to focus on core EU claims issues, amendments to some references relating to EU membership, changes throughout to reflect the commencement of the Nationality and Borders Act 2022.
