COVID-19 vaccination programme

Documents relating to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccination programme.

Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause respiratory infections. These can range from the common cold to more serious diseases.

COVID-19 is caused by a new form of coronavirus known as SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2). It was first reported in December 2019.

Pregnant women who are inadvertently immunised should be notified to the Vaccine in Pregnancy surveillance programme.
