Consensus statement from SPI-M-O on COVID-19. It was considered at SAGE 103 on 13 January 2022. This paper is the assessment of the evidence at the time of writing. As new evidence or data emerges, SAGE updates its advice accordingly.

This paper should be read alongside the accompanying paper University of Bristol: Impact of voluntary risk-mitigation behaviour on the magnitude of a COVID-19 Omicron variant wave in England, 11 January 2022 from SAGE 103.
