This document provides information about the National Tutoring programme (NTP) for the 2022 to 2023 academic year. NTP provides subsidised tutoring to help pupils catch up on missed learning.

Separate guidance about becoming a tuition partner or applying to become an academic mentor before 31 August 2022 is available on the NTP website.

Updated ‘National Tutoring Programme: guidance for schools, 2022 to 2023’ to include more information about the the grant recovery process and the mandatory year-end statement, which will be available from 4 September until 29 September 2023. For the academic year 2023 to 2024, we have adjusted the subsidy figure to 50% and added a link to the allocations.
