MyHMCTS: How to apply for probate online

Guide for probate practitioners making applications online using MyHMCTS.

This guide describes the steps you need to take to create a probate case in MyHMCTS and make the following applications:

  • with a will (grant of probate)
  • letters of administration – without a will
  • letters of administration – with an annexed will

MyHMCTS cannot accept probate applications in all cases. In these cases, you must apply using the paper form.
