Details

The oral or by conduct document lists those goods which can be declared orally or by conduct at the point of import or export. This list is exhaustive meaning no other goods, other than those that appear on the list, may be declared orally or by conduct.

The Customs (Import Duty) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018, which gives effect to the Oral or By conduct list, are amended by The Customs (Miscellaneous(Import Amendments)and (No.2)Export Declarations By Conduct) (Amendment) Regulations 20222021 so that it references the ‘List of Goods Applicable to Oral or By Conduct Declarations version 6,4, 11published Decemberon 2022.29 October 2021.
