Details

The offshore search and rescue management courses are provided to the energy industries by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) in order for relevant personnel to be trained and made aware of the correct procedures and processes to be followed in search and rescue (SAR) situations and other emergencies. These bespoke courses, one for oil and gas and one for renewables, are extremely valuable and attendance is highly recommended by the emergency services and past delegates.

Course dates and venues

OSARM for the oil and gas industry

Price £650 per delegate (including(no VAT)

From September 2023 (inclusive), £700 per delegate (plus VAT)

These courses are a day and a half long.

OSARM-R for the renewables industry

These courses are two days long.

Dates and venues for the renewables OSARM are being considered at this time and will be released in due course.

It may be possible, for renewables, to organise a bespoke course at a company premises assuming personnel from other organisations are able to attend. For more information on this and to enquire on availability, please contact oelo@mcga.gov.uk.

Search and Rescue Awareness (SARA)

This half day virtual course is being reviewed, with no further dates planned at this stage.
