This is the guidance for academy trusts and auditors completing the 2021/222022/23 accounts return (AR) online form.

Inactive trusts submitting their AR 2022/232023/24 using the AR 2021/222022/23 Excel Workbook may refer to this guidance.

The Academies accounts return (AR) 2021/22 is now in read-only mode. The AR for 2022/23 will go live on Tuesday 12 September 2023 with a submission deadline of Tuesday 30 January 2024.

  1. The accounts return guidance has been updated for the 2022/23 return.

  2. The Academies accounts return (AR) 2021/22 is now in read-only mode. The AR for 2022/23 will go live on Tuesday 12 September 2023 with a submission deadline of Tuesday 30 January 2024.
