Recovery premium (RP) grant provides additional funding for state-funded schools in England to support the education recovery of disadvantaged pupils following the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Schools and local authorities must follow the terms and conditions set out in the RP conditions of grant.
Published allocations
Allocations will be published shortly ahead of each instalment of RP grant. The first instalment of RP grant for the 2023/24 academic year was paid in September 2023 to 2024local academicauthorities yearand isin dueOctober 2023 to academies. We have published the allocations for the payment which will be made to local authorities in SeptemberDecember 2023.2023 and to academies in January 2024 .
Allocations will also be published in December 2023, April 2024 and June 2024.
