Consultation description

We are publicly consulting on the most appropriate approach for delivering minimum service levels for fire and rescue services.

We welcome views from anyone that wishes to reply. We will give due regard to consultation responses and move to ensure that regulations are laid as soon as practicable to be in place in the event of future strike action.

Fire and rescue services perform a critical role in our society, and it is right that the public should have confidence that sufficient cover is in place to respond to emergencies.

You can request easy read versions of the consultation documents by emailing frsminimumservicelevels@homeoffice.gov.uk.
