Use these tables, if you are calculating manually, to check the latest start dates for employment for Statutory Paternity Pay.

Additional Statutory Paternity Pay is no longer available for parents whose adopted children are matched on or after 5 April 2015.

  1. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2024 to 2025 tax year have been added to the page. Tables for 2020, 2021 and 2022 have been removed.

  2. The Statutory Paternity Pay (adoption) table of dates for employee entitlement for the 2023 to 2024 tax year have been added to the page. Tables for 2019 have been removed.
