This privacy notice describes how the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) collects and processes personal information about its staff before, during and after their working relationship with the organisation.

It applies to all current and former employees, workers and contractors.

  1. New points added to sections 5 and 12 regarding processing and sharing personal data when providing DCMS technology devices.

  2. New reasons for personal data collection added to sections 3 and 5. The purpose of sharing data with MOJ Casework Services has been extended in section 12.

  3. Updated to reflect departmental name change and amended contact email and link to new Personal Information Charter. Added 'information relating to perceived, potential or actual conflicts of interest which you have shared with us per our conflict of interests policy' to Section 3 and 'to identify and manage a perceived, potential or actual conflict of interest in line with the Civil Service Code' to Section 5.
