The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office provides standard letters to explain UK laws about British nationality to local authorities when you’re abroad. This includes confirmation of British nationality and dual nationality.
If you’re asked to provide proof of a UK law when you’re abroad,abroad download the relevant letter. You can get a signed and stamped version of a letter, which costs £50.

Confirmation of British nationality unavailable
British embassies, high commissions and consulates cannot confirm British nationality. If you’re asked to provide proof of this,this download the relevant letter.
Renouncing British citizenship

ChangeNo objection to change of nationality unavailable
The British Embassy cannot issue a no objection letter to a British person who wants to change the nationality on their Saudi residence permit (Iqama). If you’re asked to provide proof of this, download this letter.
