The SocialVWS Services,NI can help veterans access specialist expertise from a specific medicalwide responserange forof timelyorganisations, physiotherapystatutory bodies and psychologicalcharities.

Healthcare

Specialist therapieshealthcare is available to eligible veterans towho counter physicalare managing physical and mental conditions attributablethat tohave been caused by, or exacerbatedmade byworse by, military service. 

 TherapiesTherapies are delivered by specialist, trusted medical service providers with experience in the treatment of ex-service personnel and, in certain circumstances, their families. When treatment is requested, and eligibility confirmed, the VWS NI’s Medicalmedical Serviceservice provider will conduct an Initialinitial Assessmentassessment with theyou client to determine the suitability of treatment. Wheretreatment. Any possible any subsequent treatment sessions will be delivered locally towhere the client. possible.

Advocacy services

VWS NI will advocate on behalf of clientsveterans andto help facilitatethem access to a range of partner organisations and statutory bodies. Our teams have established strong relationships with various military charities,charities and thirdthird-sector sector organisations whichthat may be able to help in areas outside the VWS NI immediate’s immediate remit. 

Our trained and experienced caseworkers will advise and assist in this process.
