The T048 form is used to register for the 2023 Central Rating List check and challenge service in England and WalesWales. in order to check and challenge a 2023 Central Rating List business rates valuation.
You should only use this form if theyour property is in the Central Rating List,List. whichThe containsproperty types contained in the propertycentral of:rating lists are:
- electricity,
gas,gas and water supply networks
- cross country pipelines
- major transport
networksnetworks-
- telecommunications networks

PleaseThis note:T048 Allform otheris non-domesticonly propertiesfor arecentral inlist theproperties. 2023All localother ratingnon-domestic lists(business) whichproperties, containsuch as shops, offices, industrial properties etc.etc, are in the 2023 local rating lists.
If your property is in a local rating listlist, then you will need to useset up a business rates valuation account. The T048 form is only for central list properties.
