If you’reyou are involved in administering the optional key stage 1 (KS1)(KS1) tests to pupils with hearing or visual impairments, you can prepare by reading:
- the KS1 test administration guidance
(TAG)(TAG)
- this modified test administration guidance
(MTAG)(MTAG)
This will ensure that pupils using the modified large print (MLP)(MLP) or braille versions of the tests, or who have a hearing impairment, can access the tests properly and are not at a disadvantage.
The guidance includes information about:
- planning for the tests
- receiving test materials
- administering and marking the tests
