Movement Assistance Scheme: terms and conditions
Official veterinarians and certifiers must follow these terms and conditions for claims made under the Movement Assistance Scheme (MAS).

Details
Official veterinarians and certifiers using the Movement Assistance Scheme (MAS) must agree to the terms and conditions in these documents. The terms and conditions set out the rules that users must follow for the duration of the scheme.
Use the terms and conditions that apply to your activities under the scheme. There are different rules for:
- organic control bodies carrying out certifications under the scheme
- official veterinarians carrying out certifications under the scheme
- official veterinarians carrying out inspections for scrapie under the scheme
These terms and conditions are effective from 12 August 2024.

We've amended the terms and conditions for official veterinarians providing certification. We have changed the date in the description of the term 'Certification'. In Section 4: Charges, payment and recovery of sums due' we have also amended the fixed charge that practitioners can charge per certification.
