Our Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) is a quality assurance scheme for the private security industry. We approve private security companies.
Use ‘Get Approved’ to understand what is involved in becoming an approved contractor.
Use ‘Get Approved Clarifications’ to get a deeper understanding of certain points covered in ‘Get Approved’.
Use the ‘ACS Self-Assessment Workbook’ to assess your company against the ACS standard. To download the workbook, right-click on the link and select ‘Save as…’
Read the ‘2025 update to the ACS Self-Assessment Workbook’ to find out what has changed in criterion 6 (people).
Use the ‘ACS Self-Assessment Report’ to determine whether your company meets the ACS standard and to identify good practice to improve your business. To download the report, right-click on the link and select ‘Save as…’
