Abstract

This policy brief shares Young Lives findings on how climate shocks impact women’s and girls’ education, health, economic opportunities, and ability to access green jobs and participate in the climate transition. Evidence reveals the long-term effects of climate change on young women and girls, highlighting the need for targeted policy interventions that address their distinct climate related vulnerabilities, including social protection, education and training.
