Defra lists recognised non-UK breed societies for bovine, ovine, porcine and equine and caprine species.

Zootechnical rules and standards support trade in:

  • purebred breeding cattle
  • sheep and goats
  • pigs and hybrid pigs
  • equines
  • genetic material of all these animals
