This guidance is for local authorities that have been rated by Ofsted as inadequate‘inadequate’ or requires‘requires improvement.improvement’. It will help them find a suitable sector-led improvement partner to support them in improving their children’s services.
Local authorities rated as good‘good’ can also access support, if there is significant evidence of a decline in performance.
