Each edition of the Gazette includes:

  • appeals and tribunal decisions
  • applications for additions to the List and to become a maintainer
  • withdrawal of applications
  • proposed, approved and changed names
  • proposed additions and refusals
  • proposals and decisions on maintainers
  • proposed deletions and deletions
  • amendments to previous Gazettes

Special edition

A full national list is published monthly as a special edition of the Gazette. It specifies all varieties by species, currently on the UK National Lists and includes details of maintainers and agents.

From 1 July 2023, the special edition will contain:

  • the retained EU rights (tab 6)
  • the details of the holders of rights (tab 9)

Archived editions

Check the National Archives for editions of the Seed Gazette from 2020 to 2022.
