This explanatory memorandum is about a European Commission Delegated Regulation of 1.7.2025 amending Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/2534 on household tumble dryers regarding information on repairability and clarifying some aspects of the measurement and calculation methods, the product information sheet, the technical documentation and the verification procedure.

It was submitted by Dr Miatta Fahnbulleh MP, Minister for Energy Consumers, Department for Energy Security & Net Zero.
