Growth Gateway: Philippines National Climate Adaptation Plan 2023 to 2050

This strategy document was prepared by the Growth Gateway programme team in collaboration with the Boston Consulting Group. The Philippines’ National Adaptation Plan (NAP) 2023 to 2050 sets out a comprehensive, data-driven strategy to build climate resilience across 8 main sectors. It will require coordinated action and investment to mitigate projected losses of up to £25 billion annually by 2050.

The document outlines 8 initiatives that should be implemented to meet climate challenges, and represents a foundational framework for fostering a climate-resilient and prosperous future for the nation. It serves as a call to action, urging all stakeholders to unite and chart a transformative course in the face of climate change.
