Details

This authorisation (948) disapplies the testing requirement in 6.8.2.4.3 for pressure relief valves (PRVs) fitted to the tanks of tank-vehicles set out in the schedules to this authorisation.

This notice was revised January 2025 to extend the expiry date to 31 March 2026.

This revision also removes Schedule No.1 Rev.6 Motor Vehicles (Tranche 1) and Schedule No.2 Rev.5 Trailers (Tranche 1).

It also removes PRVs in:

  • Schedule No.1 Rev.3 Motor Vehicles (Tranche 2)
  • Schedule No.2 Rev.2 Trailers (Tranche 2)
  • Schedule No 1 Rev.3 Motor Vehicles (Tranche 3)
  • Schedule No 2 Rev.2 Trailers (Tranche 3)

This authorisation has immediate effect and will remain in force until 31 March 2026 unless withdrawn or otherwise revoked.
