TheseThe areaudit mandatedschedule auditsdescribes forthe allminimum DESspecific servicesaudits required to undertakebe ascompleted required by each local diabetic eye screening service on a regular basis.
Each item identifies the requirement for that audit within national guidance, service specification.specification Localor servicesquality shouldassurance completepathway thesestandards.
Where auditsno national guidance on frequency is available, a recommendation is provided. Audits that are part of routine programme management and providefailsafe themare not included. Where applicable, data for discussionaudits atcan regularbe extracted using fields available in programme meetingsperformance basedreports on(PPRs).
