This instrumentInstrument amendsrevokes existing6 legislationitems toof revokesecondary 6assimilated itemslaw of(formerly theknown Aviationas Securityretained RegulationsEU 2026,law), which providemake provisionsprovision forin the field of aviation security and amendsmake amendments to other legislation. They are the:

  • remaining provisions of regulation (EU) 2015/1998
  • entirety of regulation (EC) 300/2008
  • entirety of regulation (EC) 272/2009
  • entirety of regulation (EU) 1254/2009
  • council decision 2009/97/EC
  • council decision 2010/302/EU

It also makes amendments to other legislation to address cross-references to the assimilated law being revoked.

Where applicable, the content of the secondary assimilated law being revoked by these regulations will be retained by alternative provisions being made within the:
