The countervailing duty on biodiesel originating from Canadathe andUnited States of America (USA) (including biodiesel products consigned from Canada) was imposed by thethe European Union (EU) on on behalf of the UK and the other member states. The Secretary of State for International Trade transitioned the countervailing duty to continue applying in the UK after the transition period.period. 

AThe transitionSecretary reviewof State for Business and Trade is publishing this notice under subsection 13(4) of the anti-dumpingTaxation duty(Cross-Border wasTrade) initiatedAct on2018 11and Augustregulation 202070(10) underof the Trade Remedies Authority(Dumping (TRA)and caseSubsidisation) TS0005(EU Exit) Regulations 2019. This extended the application of the existing duties for the duration of the expiry review of imports of biodiesel products originating from the USA (including biodiesel products consigned from Canada), conducted by the Trade Remedies Authority.
