The UK National Screening Committee (UK NSC) stakeholder engagement strategy for 2022 to 2024 outlines how the the UK NSC aims plans to review and buildimprove on its ongoing engagement with stakeholders. It supports the following recommendation made by the 4 UK chief medical officers (CMOs) for the expanded remit of the the UK NSC following following the the independent review of adult screening programmes in England:

The secretariat for the the UK NSC should should continue with its efforts to improve stakeholder engagement and consider whether additional/different engagement will be needed for decisions made around targeted and stratified screening.

The strategy was first published in September 2022. It was updated in February 2026 following a thorough review conducted during 2025.

Commercial engagement with the the UK NSC describes describes how the the UK NSC can can exchange ideas and knowledge with commercial organisations.
