The APAR conditions of acceptance document covers:

  • the conditions that apprenticeship training providers need to meet to be accepted on to the APAR
  • the actions the Department for Education may take if you do not comply

  1. Updated Conditions 11 and 12 of 'APAR conditions of acceptance' to reflect changes in Ofsted grades.

  2. Updated 'Condition 5: gap in provision exceptions' of 'APAR conditions of acceptance'.

  3. Removed references to end-point assessment organisations as these have been removed from the apprenticeship provider and assessment register.

  4. Added a new condition for eligible costs for EPAOs as condition 14. Previous conditions from 14 on to 22 are renumbered as 15 to 23.

  5. Added a link to the apprenticeship provider and assessment register (APAR).
