The aim of the Supply Chain Plan process is to encourage competitive, productive and sustainable supply chains for low carbon electricity generation projects. The Supply Chain Plan Questionnairequestionnaires for solar projects isare divided into 4 sections:
- green growth
- infrastructure
- innovation
- skills
The guidance expands on how to complete the questionnaire, how plans are marked, and on the process from assessment to implementation and final post-build report.
After the CfD Allocation Round, successful applicants will need to receive a further statement from the Secretary of State confirming they have successfully passed their Supply Chain Plan Implementation Assessment. This confirms delivery of, or progress against, the activities and outcomes committed to in the scored sections of the Supply Chain Plan. This is necessary to fulfil one of the CfD Operational Condition Precedent.
