We confirm the customer’s eligibility for the grant and send them information including an installer terms and conditions letter to share with you.
You install the chargepoint. If you are not installing the cross-pavement solution yourself, you must ensure the customer has a cross-pavement charging solution provider.
The specifications page has information on what you can claim for. See the ‘What you can claim for’ heading.
Submitting a claim
To submit a claim, you must provide:
details of the chargepoints you install
a copy of your invoice – there is invoice guidance on the specifications page
a car park diagram - for the Staff and Fleets grant and Infrastructure grant for residential landlords
Chargepoint details include:
make and model as listed on the OZEV eligible equipment list
serial number
photos that show the installed chargepoint – clear enough to verify the model installed, its serial number and location
Additional photo requirements to support claims for the Staff and Fleets grant and Infrastructure grant for residential landlords
You must supply photos that show:
electrical equipment installed to ensure appropriate power for all the chargepoints and future connection locations
connection locations for future chargepoints, and cable routes with cabling running to these locations
if cable routes will be covered, ‘in progress’ pictures can be provided - for example, trenches showing cabling to future locations
wider pictures of the car park showing the chargepoints installed and connection locations for future chargepoints
the property where the installation took place
If need be, to comply with the photo limits on the claim form, you can copy required images of the installation into a Word document – we recommend 2 per page.
All All pictures picturesmust be clearly labelled and should support statements in your grant claim.
Audit
By claiming a grant you agree to facilitate and assist in audits as set out.
OZEV will select some installations to be audited. OZEV, or a third-party organisation, will check grant data, statements and records held by you and your customer.
There may be an on-site visit that will require access to the charge point(s) and any equipment that supports their operation. Grant applicants and installers / installer representatives must :
permit OZEV, or a third party OZEV appoints, to inspect the site
supply any information or documents requested in relation to the installation, grant application and claim
Audits may take place before or after a claim is paid. Grant applicants and installers / installer representatives must provide the information requested or facilitate a site visit. If this is not provided, we may withhold or reclaim payment of the grant and any other claims that have been submitted for any grant.
