Details
Funded projects include: establishing new seed orchards for species such as wild service tree, wych elm and beech, registering indigenous seed stands across regions including Cheshire and south-west England and improving the productivity of existing stands.
The projects cover a wide range of native broadleaf and alternative conifer species, helping to increase the quality, quantity and diversity of seed stands and orchards on the Register of UK Basic Material.
