Supplementary code for digital right to rent checks (1. 0)

This is the pre-release of the 1.0 publication of the supplementary code for digital right to rent checks. It has been published for business readiness purposes. It sets out rules for digital verification services supporting landlords who choose to conduct digital right to rent checks.

Once Conformity Assessment Bodies (CABs) have been accredited to certify services against this publication and certifications can proceed, it will be republished and clearly labelled as the final publication.

We don’t expect to make changes to the content of this document between the pre-release and final publication, except for alterations to the enforcement and expiry dates in the ‘Version and certification validity notes’ (section 0).
