This guidance explains new requirements to provide information about certain land agreements to HM Land Registry such as options, conditional contracts and pre-emption rights.

It sets out:

  • who is responsible
  • what information must be submitted
  • when deadlines apply
  • how the data will be published

This guidance supplements The Provision of Information (Contractual Control) (Registered Land) Regulations 2026.
