The Turing Scheme applications for the 2026 to 2027 academic year are now closed.

The scheme is funded by the UK government.

It helps education providers support their students, including apprentices, to take up study and work placements around the world. 

This guidance is for providers. It outlines:

  • what the Turingscheme Scheme is
  • who itit’s is for
  • what providers need to know before applying for funding

The scheme is open to:

  • schools
  • further education providers
  • higher education providers

We do not accept applications from students. If you are a student that is interested in applying to the Turing Scheme, speak to your school, college or university.

Providers should follow the guidance for 2025 to 2026 for any projects that take place before 31 August 2026.
