Your travel insurance could be invalidated if you travel against advice from the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO).

FCDO advises against all but essential travel to the Chapare region of Cochabamba Department including Villa Tunari and highway routes 4 and 24 that pass through Chapare.

Local Elections
Local Elections will be held on Sunday 22 March. Follow the advice of local authorities.
Domestic flights have been cancelled and there will be no transport until 6pm on Sunday evening. Some taxis will have special permits to travel to the airport. International flights will not be affected.
It is forbidden to drink alcohol from Friday 20 March until Midnight on Sunday 22 March.
