Who this service is for

Applying for Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) funding as a Strategic Partnership is designed for larger housing associations or providers that:
 

• have a track record in building large numbers of new social and affordable homes 
• want certainty over time 
• are looking for long-term, multi-year funding 

The alternative funding route is by Continuous Market Engagement (CME). This is better for those developing smaller, individual projects or portfolios on a scheme-by-scheme basis.

Apply for grants from SAHP 2026 to 2036

You’ll need an Affordable Housing Grants Service account to apply for funding online.

You can use your account to:

• apply for funding from the Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) 2026 to 2036

• manage any existing grant you were allocated through this service in the Affordable Homes Programme (AHP) 2021 to 2026
