The following rules apply to the carriage and use of regulated gears in the Sole Recovery Zone (SRZ) for the 2026 to 2027 Management Year (which runs from 1 February 2026 to 31 January 2027), The SRZ Scheme applies to vessels of 10 meters and over in length. The rules apply in the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES) Area 7e (Western Channel).
