Independent Commission for Aid Impact's review of management of the Official Development Assistance spending target 2021 to 2025: UK government response

This document provides the UK government response to the ICAI review of management of the Official Development Assistance spending target 2021 to 2025. 

The government welcomes the ICAI review of UK ODA management. We recognise some of the challenges which ICAI has highlighted. We are modernising and improving our approach to international development to make it more effective. 

The Spending Review provides 3 years of stable, predictable ODA budgets for the first time in years. The government welcomes that the ICAI has acknowledged the changes to ODA management we have now adopted. Our commitment to international development is as strong as ever. 

The government acknowledges the findings of the review and is pleased to accept its recommendations in full.
