Legal Aid Provider Survey 2026

ThisThe surveyLegal willAid helpAgency the(LAA) and Ministry of Justice (MoJ) will launch a survey for all providers who currently hold a live legal aid contract. The survey will open on 27 April 2026 and close on 1 June 2026. This short survey will take about ten minutes to complete, though you may want to take longer to reflect on the questions.

This survey will help the LAA and MoJ develop a more detailed understanding of market capacity and demand for legal aid services. InsightsIt gained from the survey will also highlight the current challenges in how we work with our providers.

We wouldWe’d appreciate your completion of the survey; the higher the participation rate, the more valuable the insights we can gather to improve the quality of our services.

How doeswill the survey work?

Providers with a live legal aid contract receivedwill anreceive emaila andunique survey link by email for each of their offices on 27 AprilApril. 2026.

The emailsemail werewill be sent from ProviderSurvey@justice.gov.uk to the member of staff nominated by the firm to act as their named liaison between their firm and the LAA. TheIf emailsyou have been sent from the following email address ProviderSurvey@justice.gov.uk.
