This regulatory position statement (RPS) applies to England and does not change your legal requirement to have and comply with an environmental permit whenwhere youone useis ELVs and other waste for:required

  • training exercises
  • teaching
  • public awareness displays

However, the Environment Agency will not normally take enforcement action if you do not comply with thesethis legal requirementsrequirement if you meet the requirements in thethis RPS.

TheThis regulatory position does not apply to any other legal requirements.
