This improvement notice was lifted on 15 April 2026, following a review of Plymouth City Council’s special educational needs or disability (SEND) services.
The improvement notice required Plymouth City Council to take steps to improve its SEND services.
It followed an Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC) Area SEND inspection that judged that there were 5 areas for priority action.
