The UK has successfully concluded a milestone free trade agreement (FTA) with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) comprising of the:
- Kingdom of Bahrain
- State of Kuwait
- Sultanate of Oman
- State of Qatar
- Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
- United Arab Emirates (UAE)
This technical note outlines the methodology used in estimating headline impacts for the UK-GCC FTA and presents preliminary estimates for the impact on gross domestic product (GDP), bilateral trade, and wages.
