Jobs Guarantee
Far too many young people are leaving education and not getting the chance to work. The Jobs Guarantee is a key element of the Government’s commitment to breaking the cycle of long-term unemployment for young people.
A part of the wider Youth Guarantee, the scheme will guarantee fully funded, six month paid jobs to all eligible 18 to 24-year-olds who have been on Universal Credit and looking for work for 18 months.
The Jobs Guarantee is expected to support over 90,000 young people over the next three years.
Delivery of the Jobs Guarantee has been across two phases
-
Phase One which is already live in 6 areas across the UK (now closed for applications) and;
-
National rollout (open for applications from organisations wishing to become delivery partners) which will go live later in 2026.
The Delivery Partners for Phase One were chosen following a competed grant award in January 2026 and are already supporting young people into work in 6 areas across Great Britain - Employers interested in contacting phase one delivery partners can find their details below. Please see Phase One section.
The next phase of the Jobs Guarantee is its’ National Rollout. The Department for Work and Pensions is inviting organisations interested in becoming a Delivery Partner for the national rollout to complete a grant application. Please see the National Jobs Guarantee Scheme section.
