Infected Blood: A Service of Recognition, Remembrance and Reflection

There waswill be a national service at St. Paul’s Cathedral for the infected blood community on Tuesday 19th May 2026.

  • The service tookwill take place at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Tuesday, 19 May 2026,2026. It is scheduled to take place on the eve of the 2 year anniversary of the Infected Blood Inquiry reporting.reporting.

Clothing should be suitable for occasion whilst also being comfortable for people and their needs.

Arrivals Process 

  • On the impactday of the scandal.service, Thisthere includedwill be one entrance to the currentCathedral Primegrounds Minister,through SirPaternoster KeirSquare. Starmer,Attendees should arrive at Paternoster Square and approach the Ministermetal barriers. There will be ushers greeting and directing attendees.
  • At the barriers, ushers will scan attendee Eventbrite QR tickets. All attendees should have their QR ticket ready to be scanned (either on their phone/device or printed out).
  • Attendees will undergo a light bag search. This is standard for all visitors to the CabinetCathedral. OfficeSecurity staff will do a visual bag check and ministersuse formetal security scanning wands. They will also ensure attendees aren’t bringing in large items of luggage.
  • After passing through the Departmentbarriers, attendees should head to the West Entrance of Healththe Cathedral - this is the main entrance.
  • If an attendee has accessibility needs or wants to enter via a no-filming zone, they should head to the North Transept.
  • If you do not wish to be filmed, please avoid the West Entrance and SocialSt Care.
