Details

The Council RFCA (CRFCA) sets commercial process in policy, in line with the Procurement Act 2023 and Public Contracts Regulations Scotland, devolved and transferred authorities and wider MOD policies. We are responsible for delivering guidance and advice to the 13 RFCAs located in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Regional RFCAs manage procurement activity up to the thresholds of the Procurement Act 2023. Activity over these thresholds is managed by the CRFCAs Commercial Team.

We tender contracts in accordance with UK procurement legislation, which ensures open and fair competition between bidders. This means our contracts are competitively tendered following a set of standard processes.
