This guidance explains how the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government’s £18 million Playground Fund will support 66 local authorities in England to create, improve or enhance playgrounds in areas of greatest need.
It sets out the fund’s:

Each authority will receive £270,000 across 2026 to 2027 and 2027 to 2028, covering both capital and revenue costs.
